In short: this is an experiment. It may break, change or disappear. Nothing issued here has any monetary value or any promise of redemption. You use it at your own risk and you look after your own keys.
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of this website and of the demonstration pages, issuers, wallets, bridges, studios, labs and related services that make up the experimental Domain Atlas platform (together, the “Platform”). The Platform is operated by Bruno da Silva (the “Operator”).
By using the Platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
2. Experimental platform, provided as-is
The Platform is experimental software built for research and demonstration. It is unfinished, may contain errors and security weaknesses, and may behave in ways that were not intended. It is provided “as is” and “as available”.
3. Use at your own risk
You use the Platform, and everything you see, create, receive or do on it, at your own risk. Do not rely on it for anything important, and do not use it for anything where a failure, loss or mistake could cause you harm.
4. No monetary value and no promise of redemption
All assets, tokens, credits, credentials, balances, memberships, tickets, collectibles and other items issued, displayed, transferred or traded through the Platform are for demonstration only. They:
- have no monetary value, and are not money, currency, electronic money, securities, vouchers, stored value or any other financial product;
- carry no promise of redemption, exchange, refund, payout, conversion into money, or delivery of any goods or services;
- may be changed, revoked, reissued, reset or deleted at any time, without notice and without compensation.
Do not give or accept money, or anything of real value, in exchange for them, and do not treat them as an investment.
5. No warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Operator gives no warranty or assurance of any kind about the Platform, including about its availability, security, reliability, accuracy, fitness for a purpose, or the preservation of data. Parts of the Platform may be unavailable, slow or wrong. Accounts, balances, credentials, designs and other data may be lost, corrupted, reset or exposed, and nothing is backed up for you.
6. Your keys and credentials
You are responsible for protecting your wallet, your keys, your passkeys, your recovery files and any credentials you hold. Anyone who has them can act as you. The Operator cannot recover a lost key or credential, reverse an action taken with your key, or restore items you have lost. Do not use a key from the Platform to protect anything of real value, and do not reuse keys or passwords from other services.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator is not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from or connected with your use of, or inability to use, the Platform. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, special and consequential loss, loss of data, items or opportunity, and loss caused by security incidents, service interruptions or changes to the Platform.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability, or any right you have, that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including, where they apply, your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. If a provision of these terms goes further than the law allows, it applies only to the extent the law allows.
8. Acceptable use
Do not attack, overload or probe the Platform in ways that harm it or others, bypass its limits, impersonate other people, or submit unlawful, abusive or infringing content. The Operator may limit, block or remove access or content at any time. If you find a security problem, please report it responsibly and do not exploit it.
9. What you submit
Names, descriptions, designs and other information you enter may be stored, displayed, changed or deleted by the Platform. Do not submit personal information, or anything you are not comfortable having stored on an experimental system. The servers may process technical information such as network addresses and request details in order to run and protect the service. These terms are not a privacy policy.
10. Changes and discontinuation
The Operator may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Platform, any feature, issued item or data at any time, with or without notice. These terms may also change. The current version is always at /terms/ on the website you are visiting, and continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the new version.
11. Copyright and software licence
© 2026 Bruno da Silva. All rights reserved. The Domain Atlas source code and specification are covered by the licence in the project’s source repository, which is separate from these terms. Nothing in these terms or on the Platform grants you a licence to that code or specification, or to anything else belonging to the Operator or to third parties.
12. Governing law
These terms, and your use of the Platform, are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where a mandatory rule of law gives you a right to use another forum.
13. General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. These terms are the whole agreement between you and the Operator about the Platform.
